The Common Butler (Grell x Reader)
Note: You are a powerful Reaper, unknown the everyone because despite your power you eyes are (e/c) and you do not need glasses, you are currently living on the streets, begging for enough money to get by.

Coldness ripped through you, rattling even your bones as you shook in this horrible

weather, trying to clench for dear life unto your drenched clothes. Your hair tangled beyond

what you believe anyone could repair, covering your eyes your (h/c) hair became a thick

curtain over your eyes. You scoffed at the idea of you here, on the street, like you were a

poor mortal. One tiny little creation of the disease known as the Black Plague to cause mass-

destruction among those lower than you? Please. The only thing the other Reapers care about

is over time. You sat down on the cold paved stone, a little island above the flooded drains.

You weren't sorry for the deaths you caused, yet you were sorry for yourself at this

particular moment, yes, you could easily killed your uppers and taken over the Death God

Realm but to be honest you can not see it being worth the effort. You heard heels clacking

and you drew yourself against the wall, not wanting to put up with human scum. "OH dear!"

You heard a woman's voice, calling to you indirectly, probably to pity you and walk along

like the others. You just hugged yourself and waited for her to go away and tell all her

other upper-class friends about the tragedy that is yourself. "My, Madam, this little thing

looks drenched to the bone." Correction, you waited for them to leave. You brought up your

(e/c) to glare at the onlookers. You saw a Lady and Butler pair, the Lady was completely

red, from her hair, to her eyes, all the way too her clothes, and you liked it.

They stared back at you as you looked at her complete common butler, what a bore, black

outfit, stupid glasses, the only hope was his quite attractive face and long hair wrapped

in a red bow. As you looked close, you realized this was a reaper, in disguise... why on

earth is he catering to this woman? You wobbly stood up, the butler was obviously ready to

protect his red mistress. You smirked at the pair and for once in your life, bowed to human

scum. Grinning you lifted your head, letting your (h/c) curtain slightly cover your eyes.

"Madam, if I may, your hair, you eyes, you are quite amazing. You might be one of the few

people I have ever had respect for. Please do continue to live in red as you belong." You

finished making your admiration known then flopped back down on the cold ground. "Please do

continue on your way, do not mind me Ma'am." You continued to huddle close to the wall.

"Grell?" The Madam asked, implying an order which you did not understand, considering your

head was down again and you could not see the signs. You heard what you could only assume

was Grells heels clicking toward you. You looked up and prepared yourself for a fight, but

you were only shocked to see Grell pick you up, and continue walking behind the Madam.

"Can you please put me down?" You were surprised, reaper or not, Grell seemed to be a stick.

"No, I cannot at the moment." He replied with a smirk. You just sighed, awaiting whatever

it was they had planned. Currently you were in the awkward state of having your hands

wrapped around Grells neck, as he held you like a small child, but you decided to go with

after staring at his profile for a fair amount of time, and you laid your limp head unto

his chest. Eyes still wide open, you saw Grells priceless reaction, widened eyes, a side

glace, and furrowed brows. As he almost tripped on a rock from being distracted you giggled

and rested your eyes, fully passing out in his arms.

It wasn't like you trusted him

No.

You Don't trust anybody, something you learn in the beginning of your life as a Death God.

You just knew if they tried to kill you, you would defiantly feel the pain.

Yes... that's it...

You don't trust them at all.
